Field Chemistry can be collected using PLog and imported directly into ESdat.

Field chemistry is collected in PLog in on of the following forms:

 

1. "Environmental Measurements" or

 

2. The "Groundwater (or Surface Water or Gas) Monitoring" forms.

 

 

Field Chemistry Import - ChemCodes

During import to ESdat the data is given the following ChemCode and ChemName, which is added to the Chemistry Lookup table if required.

 

ChemCode  = [Test Type]  + "_Field" + (if the reading is flagged as a background reading) "_Background".

         ie "PID_Field" or "PID_Field_Background"

 

ChemName = [Test Type]  + "(Field" + (if the reading is flagged as a background reading) ", Background)".

         ie "PID (Field)" or "PID (Field, Background)"
