When first implementing ESdat in your organisation you may like to check this list to ensure a smooth start.

Ensure your laboratory can export data in the format required for import into ESdat.  Specifications and a file checker are on the "Resources" web page of the ESdat website (www.esdat.net).  If the laboratory doesn't currently export it may take them a few weeks to get the export correct (they can contact us at support@esdat.com for assistance if required) so it is prudent to contact them as early as possible.

Open the Sample projects and review the Tutorials to ensure you have a good understanding of the software.

Allocate a Network Folder on your server to store your licence (for Office or Network Licences) and common resources, such as templates, environmental standards, post-import custom calcs and other files.  A standard set of these are included under the installation folder.

Set up your Templates and Environmental Standards.
