In previous versions of ESdat rainfall data could be imported into a specific "Surface Water Flow" table. This option is still available, however alternative option is to import using the "Time-series logger" functionality. The "Time-series logger" functionality has the advantage that trigger levels can be imported included on graphs.
Often it is necessary to convert the raw logger data into a calculated flow. This can be achieved by use of a "Post Import Calculation", or by creating custom database tables to suit the paramater requirements of the particular flow calculation.

The data tables and relationships for a custom setup for a particular flume scenario is shown below. The outputs used the parameters to automatically calculate the flows based on the flume type and the input data.
